maybe this could be toggle from the current M/R/S keyframing. There are times
when seperating the keys can be very handy however with very complex animations
it can become a major pain to keep track of and reference the various keys.

Do you mean double clicking on the actual wireframe in layout? That would be
nice in addition to the current selection tools.
There was also mention of texture previews. I may have mentioned this before but
Caligari's render allows you to choose a scene, an object, an object's surface
or a sphere to render. This is very handy when you're trying to pinpoint
attribute problems and don't want to render the whole scene. LW's limited region
rendering is a step in that direction.
Also because attributes are save with objects and not scenes Caligari allows you
to set different attributes for every clone in your scene without having to save
a new object to disk.
